Nice to meet you
I’m Marc. I’ve worked in the music industry for over a decade now, having worked both in live sound as a touring and venue engineer and a studio engineer and owner. I built the bunkhouse to be able to work with likeminded creatives as I believe in quality and wanted to have a working environment that would feel like home for all types of creatives.
A great space to work in
We have a great, acoustically treated medium sized live room, as well as a vocal booth, piano room and guitar re-amping space. Our control room is fully treated also and running Pro Tools via an RME UFX 3 + SSL Alphalink and a great selection of outboard preamps and hardware. A plentiful selection of microphones means we have all bases covered for you. We have DMX controlled lighting and a 4 camera, Blackmagic Design Atem Mini Pro ISO camera rig – perfect for video podcasting. A voiceover suite with video monitoring for ADR and dialogue recording. Taking a break? We have a small kitchenette with tea and coffee making facilities as well as shops and takeaways nearby. We have on site parking and are a short walk away from the nearest tram stop.
Services
We offer recording, mixing and mastering services for music. Beyond that, we also can facilitate podcast recording with high quality, broadcast level audio and a 4 camera HD setup with professional lighting. We also offer voiceover recording and a variety of post production services. A high quality recording environment running Pro Tools and DaVinci Resolve.
